I rememer seeing these short films back in elementary ( mid 70's)
In the "Red Balloon", this boy would chase the balloon and it kind of took him on an adventure through his town, same thing with "The Magic Sneakers", no one was wearing them but they ran all over the place. Every time I mention these movies, nobody's ever seen or heard of them. I hope I wasnt imagining things !!!!

No your not imagining this, I too have seen the movie red balloon at my former church school. After we saw it, we let a bunch of balloons filled with helium and a note on it go on to the grand blue yonder. Watch them till we could not see them anymore. Someone called us many weeks after and the one balloon went 1500 miles. Thanks for bringing back this memory. Have a great day....

Red Balloon - great! It was fun watching this kid go through town. You are NOT imagining things.
Never saw the one about the sneakers, but sounds less realistic. Not sure it would be as good. Your thoughts?

I haven't seen the Red Balloon in years! I used to show it to Kind. students many, many years ago.
