I just moved to a new place. Can anyone tell if the norther lights ever make it to winnipeg at all?

Actually saw the northern lights for the first time here in Nebraska last year and yeah, it was cold out, but I wouldn't have missed it. The colors were so vibrant and dancing, almost alive. It was great!

You might have to leave the city a bit though. I did...just to get more out into the country, away from the city lights....

Wait untill winter. I live up in the Yukon, and the Northern Lights don't even think about coming out at this time of the year....

Yes. But you're more likely to see them when it gets colder out...like October to January is good.

I'm from Regina and we get some beautiful nights of Northern Lights here. But usually more visible and vibrant when it's colder out (and darker).

It maybe a bad time of year..But yes..You will see them. Keep an eye to the sky!..lol

sure you can but of course the more North you are the better you can see them and espeacially in the Winter

yes they do on clear summer nights and in does cold winter nights, they are beautiful enjoy them .
