For an interview, it would definitely be inappropriate. An interview is a first impression, you can't stray from the "norm". However you if were to get that job and be required to wear business suits on a regular basis, then the camisole underneath (tastefully done) would be OK; especially for a business dinner or other evening function. Good luck.

How high does the button on the jacket go and how high does the neckline of the camisole go? Does it look decent to you? If it's the lacy types and it shows, I would certainly say no to that. Someone mentioned about being taken seriously. And by revealing a silky camisole underneath, esp. on the first interview day, when you need to impress them with your brains and abilities and smart business-like dressing, I would suggest don't go for it. Be conservative. It's their first impression of you and you are there because you take work seriously. You don't want someone getting distracted with what you are wearing underneath. Play safe right now.

If she's interviewing for a job as a camisole model, it's probably OK (but if you wear the wrong brand you could ruin your chances at the opportunity).
Otherwise, get serious!

Not if it's see-through or low-cut. And not if it looks like a camisole. And don't take the jacket off.

Not for the interview. First, get an idea of the office dress code first. You might accidentally offend what might be a great job.
Good luck.

As long as your jacket is buttoned and the camisole is not lacy, transparent, or too low-cut. You just don't want to look like your lingerie is showing.

I would hope that she would keep the jacket buttoned and not let the camisole be fully exposed.

Well! You can wear one as long as it almost meets your neckline you try to wear something similar to what they wear at the company now, and do not forget eye contact this is very important. Good Luck!

You could go wrong so why take the chance? I'd prefer a blue or white blouse with a collar.
