Actually, I find doing the research to find an answer to someone's question more addicting than anything else. Of course, it's completely humiliating when I think I know the answer, cite a source, and then find out the question was about something completely different and my answer sticks out like a sore thumb.

i would have to say trying to read all the questions and pick out the good ones.
i think humans in general just like giving advice to people they don't know ... that's why it's addicting.
