the lives of innocent Lebanese civilians? Why does Condoleeza Rice say she will not go to the Middle East to negotiate another "meaningless ceasefire?" Could it be that she might negotiate a ceasefire to prevent civilian casualties on all sides? Why doesn't the government CARE ABOUT THAT? And what about two Arab kids that were killed by Hezbollah in Nazareth? They do not count?
For six years after Israel withdrew from Lebanon, there was peace near the border. Some small kids in Kiryat Shmona even did not know what the missile is. Can you imagine? Living for 6 years with no missiles? What do you know about leaving between bomb shelter visits. And, after all those six years again: terror and killings. What Israel suppose to do? Ask for help from you? Or just silently go in the shelter? Or maybe to cease to exist voluntary? Hezbollah is using human shields and it is responsible for those deaths.
If I am, standing behind my kid, will start shooting yours, what would would you do? Wait? Cry? What?

Israel continues to be attacked by a radical organization bent on its destruction. Hezbollah is by no means seeking a peace accord. Hezbollah believes it is doing a Holy thing by attacking Israel. Unfortunately they are doing so to the harm and detriment of Lebanese civilians. Hezbollah knew this when they started the conflict. Israel has civillians too. They are being harmed too. Why should Israel cease to defend itself? If you and your family were to be attacked, would you allow this to happen without a response? It's not about the government not caring, its about the government allowing another sovereign state to defend itself from a terrorist group.

Okay, so we go in there and start kicking a$$ -- you know what's gonna happen? Iran will get into it, and then all hell breaks loose. Then you have bed-wetting liberals running around in the streets with signs about how Bush is a baby killer. It's not that we care or don't care, but America has traditionally supported Israel, and that started way before Bush became president.

The lebanese have been bombing Isreal for 5 years and they have gobs of pictures to show you of the destruction and death and funerals and sadness. Many times they have said they would stop and they didn't they went into their country killing and destroying and guess what this time they decided to fight back;.
Well excuse me, if you don't want people to bomb you don't bomb them. Rice has begged them to stop and cease fire and they didn't. before so why do you think they will now.
Lebannon was clearly the agressor and the USA has done nothing to help Isreal. What about the lives of Innocent Isrealites?

The Jews are a powerful group of people in the U.S., financially and politically. Bush and Rice will not do what is morally right because they simply cannot afford it - financially and politically. Sad, but true.
