It's not a matter of if you crash, it's a matter of WHEN.

That phrase comes from racers, not street riders (no offense) but there is a huge difference between cruising and riding on a track. For street guys, which I am not, when and hopefully never it does happen it is a cars fault.
I ride motocross and this is a phrase that we all say. Mostly to beginners that think they are invincible.

Well I've been riding a motocycle for 37 yrs and that is the first time I heard that saying. I'm still keeping the shiny side up who have been riding with friends and co workers who also never heard this either. I called 4 of them just to make sure

I haven't yet but I saw someone die in front of me on their bike (thank you very much SUV not looking where you are going!). In most cases it can only be a matter of time or if you are lucky it might never happen. You can be the most experienced rider in the world and all it takes is a circumstance out of your control.

i will tell you, if you ride properly, you should not have any problems, go to motorcycle training school and don't let a cager hit you.

motorcycles are so much fun, and addictive, i miss mine. i was t-boned by a cager and now i am an amputee above the knee. and one day i plan on being back on a bike, since i am in this damn wheelchair, i am planning on having a trike, and get it fixed so i can operate it from my wheelchair. but i know it will be a loooong time before that happens.

just be possitive, and ride with a closed mouth smile on your face.

It is a true statement.

An accident on a bike is usually NOT the fault of the motorcycle driver, but rather the ignorant driver in the car who fails to look or signal or stop when they hear the horn/crunch of a bike.

I've heard that saying before, and it holds true. You can be the best rider in the world, and all it takes is one person running a stop sign to ruin it all.

The only place I've ever heard (seen) it is on yahoo answers. Usually from some tool wanting to shove a helmet law up my butt.
