The bottles are cheap and you can sterilize them by putting the bottles in a pot of boiling water or the dish washer. But its not like bottles are really all that expensive. So either way works. I have never bought "used" bottles before.

I bought used playtex nursers from ebay and no they are not cheap. New or used for that matter. I bought a few new ones too. I have also sold on ebay. I bought a few new nipples to go with the used ones. But I think it saves money for things you need.

I don't think any baby should have to use the same nipple another baby has used. Thats nasty. Don't buy used bottles. go buy some new ones.

Oh deffinately, buy new ones, you can get cheaper new ones at Target or K-mart or actually, now you can get them just about anywhere. But usually, most of them need to be put in the dish washer or cleaned a lot before the first use.

right - no baby should have any bottle. anything but breastmilk is a crime against nature and a denial of the baby's birthright.
not to mention formula lowers baby's iq, increases the baby's risk for diabetes and cancer and the mother's risk for cancer and osteoporsis. hey, but you know, we all should be free to choose to harm our children as we see best.
