Using Pythagorean Theorem for this problem.

a = 4

b = 3

Insert these values into the formula

C² = a² + b²

C² = √4² + 3²

C² = √16 + 9

Results after the square inside the radical sign √

C² = √25

adding 16 plus 9 equals 25 inside the radical sign √. The 25 inside the radical sign √25 is called the radicand.

C = 5

C = 5 The results after the square root of 25.

The answer is 5 cm
