My MS Word got deleted from my Gateway Windows 98 computer somehow. We disconnected the computer last September. And, did not get it fix until a month ago. And, I checked the computer and MS Word seems to be erased. I asked my friend how to I get it back on my computer and I was told to either go to www.download.com. Or, go to Staples, Comp USA, Office Depot. Does anyone know which of these stores would have the best deal for MS Word? How much does MS costs if I happen to go to Staples, Comp USA, or Office Depot?

I work at staples, and we definatly sell it... however I don't know the price. It is always usually cheaper than other stores... but you would get it much cheaper on amazon.com

Before you did that though, contact Gateway

If you still have all the CD's that came with the new Gateway then you should have an installable disk for Word. Try that before you buy it, it is fairly expensive.

You would get a better deal on the net with your purchase than getting it from a retail store.
