Work hard, clean and organize your work area, figure out ways to do your job better, then when you're done with that, put on some favorite CDs, if you're allowed to, or listen to the radio. That seems to help time go a little faster.

Try doing some puzzle books. Crosswords, etc. It will keep your mind sharp. Or sicne you have a coworker equally bored, bring games you two can play together. Maybe start knitting

After you're done your job or while you're doing your job, STUDY! You have a target of opportunity to knock out school work. Take advantage of the free time.
