No, it is a natural fear. I think we all have it.

Nope. The fear of rejection is one of the most fundamental fears that human beings experience. The trick is learning to cope with the fear and finding ways to get past it. Like other fears, you must face this one to overcome it. Something that may help is to remember that each person is unique. Because of that uniqueness, others may not like you and others may love you. Some people go through life scared of the people that do not like them. In my opinion, if they do not like you, then you have lost nothing. If they like you, you have gained a friend. The act of rejection may help you figure out who likes you and who does not. Bear in mind that many types of “like” exist. Sometimes people like you as a friend. Sometimes people like you as a co-worker. Sometimes people like you, and maybe even feel a romantic connection towards you. Sometimes people like you, but they have no interest in the romance department.

None of us can help how we feel: however, we can help how we deal those feelings. One way to deal with rejection is never to let the rejecter see you sweat.

Be strong!

Just think of it this way, there is someone out there for EVERYONE and of course there may be a time(s) you are rejected but also remember that LIFE GOES ON! You want to move forward in life, not backward and you definitely don't want to take a pause in life and stay there. Just be strong and do what you think is right!

I'm scared of being rejected too. It is normal to some degree. But don't let it get to you as it has gotten to me. I don't like going out I feel like I have no friends. and I feel like people laugh at me . So don't be me.

Oh course not, we all have the instinct to protect ourselves. A fear of rejection is just your brain trying to protect you from getting hurt. But you can not let it control you. Sometimes we have to go against our fear in order to move on with our lives
