I have a small selection of recordings of "Amazing Grace" on my iTunes/ipod, and I love them all, but I'm looking for more. Here is a ranked (by how much I like them) list of mine:
(1) The Neville Brothers (really just Aaron). I have 2 different recordings of this, from the albums: [a] "Live on Planet Earth" & [b] "Live At the 2005 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival".
(2) Aretha Franklin (album = "Amazing Grace").
(3) Fred McDowell & The Hunter's Chapel Singers (album = "Amazing Grace").
(4) Mahalia Jackson (album = "More Gospel Soul").
(5) John Fahey (album = "America"; this is instrumental - 12-string guitar).
(6) The Blind Boys Of Alabama (album="Spirit Of The Century"; this is non-traditional; the music is different)

I would especially like to find some good Country-Gospel style versions. I once heard one on the radio that sounded like a choir in a little country church with that country-style harmony, rough edges and all. I'd love to find that one.

In addition to the ones suggested here, I also found the following on iTunes and I like them all. Here's artist name followed by ("[album name]").

Mud Acres ("Woodstock Mountains - Music from Mud Acres") - Harmonica solo - incredible!

Laura Love ("Octoroon")

Ani Difranco ("Dilate")

Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys ("Clinch Mountain Gospel")

Soweto Gospel Choir ("Voices from Heaven") - a capella

Dropkick Murphys, hands down. They did an Irish/punk instrumental version of it. Bagpipes and punk rock guitars kick ***.

a million.12! even as 33/30 is an fantastically good stat it might want to be very deceptive. a tumbler might want to theoretically achieve this feat even as preserving a 5 era and having a 12 H/9 by using easily supply me 6 mentality huge-spread in at present's sport. Heck as sturdy a season Halladay is having he had a 8.3 H/9 & pitched fifty 4 innings below Gibson in sixty 8. it truly is 6 complete video games! even as we are on deceptive stats, Joe D.'s fifty six is devious. little doubt the guy is between the perfect ever, yet mathematically a guy might want to be a .250 hitter & achieve this record. *There are some large stats interior the segregated era of baseball, yet I supply them a lot less weight seeing that they weren't dealing with the perfect attainable competition.

You want a good country version? Well, I recommend you to download the version sung by LeAnn Rimes. She is my favorite singer and has an amazing voice. Try this site:

www.leannrimes.ru

It's a Russian site, but you'll find the song easily (I don't speak Russian and yet I found it!)...

I know you said Country-Gospel but if you like other types of music as well, try Petra's version off of their album "Revival" or the live version on "Petra: Farewell". I think you'll like it.
