Whatever gave you that idea?No we are not on the brink of new terrible war.These local scirmishes in the middle east will stay just that, local scirmishes.The trouble will come if,the us attacks iran,without the approval of the un.Russia won't allow usa military forces on her doorstep.With both china and russia on the security council(and france)a un sanctioned invasion is doubtful.Even a coalition of the willing is unlikely

I dont know man it is quite scary, I wish and hope for peace before that, World war wont do good for any one just countless deaths of innocent lives, lebanese have already lost abput 400 people their economy has collapsed, I just hope and pray for the best. US and UN should step up the efforts for a cease fire.

We are already involved in a world war against islamic extremeists/crazy *** holes. Try looking up war/skirmishes/etc. going on all over the world; nearly all of them involve muslims. Then, of course, we have N. Korea, who isn't islamic, but wants to kill us nonetheless.

I say yes- although ints unfortunate more ppl are gonna die before its over and its gonna get worse.. More Countries are getting involved.. UN-US & Canadian Soldiers- are getting killed..
