I think Heaven and Hell are born of the imagination. That's why, long before boats, so many different groups of people separated by oceans still came up with very similar religions, most of which with a heaven and a hell. Its a need of human imagination to believe that we don't stop existing when we die. I wish I had the comfort, but I refuse to believe things without proof. They all claim to be the one true religion too. How can that possibly be? It's more likely that none of them are right as opposed to just one being right. So no, I don't think Homosexuals are going to heaven. I don't think they're going to hell either. I think they're going to cease to exist once they die, just like the rest of us.

And why do so many humans have to believe its wrong to be gay? What B.S.....

If there is a God, and I personally do not believe there is, I'm sure he/she/it would not punish someone for something as innocent as sexual preference. There are so many people in the world that do terrible things... there is no reason to believe that simply being attracted to or loving someone of the same sex would warrant rejection from some kind of Heavenly afterlife. If a homosexual person, like a heterosexual person, murdered or tortured another human being, then that would be a different story. Sexuality should have nothing to do with it.

I'm sorry honey, I hate to break it to you, but there is no heaven, or Santa, or the Easter Bunny. Heaven is just like an imaginary country club, and apparently you have to pay a lot of money and know the right people to get in. If you really want to be a good person, why not try allowing others to live their own lives without persecuting them for being different.....or did the christian religion omit the parts about "judge not lest ye be judged" entirely.

It's really not in our "job description" to judge other human beings, right? If we make decisions for God aren't we placing ourselves on his/her level? If all that is said about our "Christian" God is true, then we will never be at that level and is against his will for us to be so pompous. I think that people that say whether or not other people are going to heaven or not are committing just as bad a sin as stealing or telling a lie! Personally I think everyone is going to heaven but only because I don't believe in hell :) Love to all!

If there is a heaven I think our god loves everyone and that he made people homosexual. I think people cannot help being homsexual. I do not think it is a choice for most people. I think it is programed into them. Let people hate me for this, but this is my belief. My mom is gay and I am not, but I believe it is not a choice. I have known gay people who have tried to fight it and have not had it work. Teens kill themselves sometimes when they are trying to deal with the whole issue. Yeah people can slam on me, but I just think that god loves everyone and as long as it is consenting adults and no children I do not think it is a problem.
I am catholic if they accept me. I cannot understand why the church will accept a pedofile, but not a gay person. I do not understand why it is okay for 2 priests to have sex but not for 2 memebers to be gay. I do not understand why it is okay for an archbishop to have sex with a member, but premarital sex is wrong. It confuses me so much.
My boyfriend says the catholic church is so full of perversion that it cannot be fixed. He says it is a part of the religion. I am beginning to think he is right because they do not fix it. They just let it happen.
I struggle with being a christian because churches are not usually christian. I practice christianity at home and in my life for that reason. Churches are to hypocritical for me.

If there really is a heaven like the one described by various religions, then it would not really be a heaven if homosexuals were turned away.

And who would want to go to a heaven if heaven wasn't real?

Alright I really don’t BELIEVE in a haven, but if it did exist i don’t see why homosexuals wouldn’t be let in… I mean hell if you find redheads attractive would you go to hell? What about if you have a bad sense of fashion? Hell is supposed to be a place to punish “evildoers” for their deeds, not for their tastes. I also find it baloney all that stuff about believe in the lord or you shall burn in hell… So are you telling me if say Mother Teresa hadn’t been a nun and a believer in the lord but had still devoted her life for the betterment of the planet she would be in hell? I’m sorry but I also find that hard to believe then again this is just my opinion /shrug

Homosexuality is a sin in Gods eyes, and there are only 144,000 anointed people that will go to Heaven and rule with Jesus. Gays will be forgiven for their sins and have the chance of a resurrection and will have to prove themselves, along with the rest of us, that we can follow God's laws.

Homosexuals are people. Like all people, some accept God and go to heaven, and some don't. It is harder for them, however, since such an important part of their life is difficult.
