i saw this weird looking spider outside. it has, i think 6 red horns sticking out of it and it is light green. i've never seen anything like it before... it was almost a cross between a spider and a crab, though i'm pretty sure it's a spider since it was sitting on a web. if you know what it is, that'd be awesome. i'm just curious, thanks.

What you saw was a jewel spider, sometimes also called a spiny orb spiders.

Beyond that I can't help you since you don't tell us where you live. We really need that information to give any sortof reasonable ID. I'm guessing Australia or South America if you are seeing jewel spiders at this time of year.

But it is definitely a jewel spider. Sometimes these things are also called crab spiders by people who dont; know much, but they aren't closely related to the true crab spiders, which don't spin webs.

You should ask an arachnologist. Don't touch the spider until you know for sure that it isn't poisonous.
