I just bought one, and now everyone is telling me I should've bought a Dodge, a Toyota, a Chevy, or GMC instead. Did I make a good choice? It is an F-150 full size ext cab. I love driving it.

I am not a particular fan of Ford but they make one of the best trucks out there. You will probably be very happy with it. Everyone has there opinions, informed and not, and you are just now starting to hear them. You would have heard the same thing no matter what truck you bought it is normal when you spend that kind of money to second guess your purchase.
Enjoy it and good luck with the fuel bill!

it particularly is worse than that - those pickups will truthfully enable the domicile windows to function for a jointly as when you change them off! the only thank you to make valuable this would not ensue is to tutor off the vehicle. The A/C would not truthfully do lots whilst there is not any load on the engine besides - that provides a great way too many people a pretend experience of secuirty jointly as their canine nevertheless chefs. There are greater issues which could ensue as quickly as you have left a canine or a infant in a working vehicle - you need to quickly locate them driving down the line! remember, additionally Ms Manners - the canines can in simple terms as actually OPEN the domicile windows via status on the button, and then stand on the different button- not something is secure whilst there is skill to those valuable aspects. hence, I not in elementary terms push the LOCK button once I've gotten out, yet additionally had my mechanic sink the administration to the passenger component domicile windows into the door - you may not disconnect them, or you destroy the ciruit and not something works. yet you're real - it fairly is a fortunate element you have been there! i don't comprehend why, on the instant time the place maximum of folk take their young little ones and canines in a truck, there may well be no infant locks on the domicile windows...sigh.

Ford has been the sales leader in pick up trucks for
29 years in a row. Easily out selling the #2 brand Chevrolet.
You cannot mess with success. Dodge did poorly on J.D. Power quality scores. Toyota does not have a stong enough frame to tow or haul anything of any weight or size.
Ford is clearly the leader in truck sales.

I bought a 2000 F-150 with the Triton 5.4 V8. It now has 298K plus miles on it and still runs like a telefunkin top. I think that you made a wise choice for a vehicle that'll last. The mileage kinda sucks though.

hey, made in the U.S.A i say. that's all we need to know. and it's your money, you spend it how ever you want. you're happy with it, you're paying for it, you're driving it. so run those asswipes over next time they say **** about your truck, or better yet, tell them to buy you a dodge, toyota, chevy or GMC "instead". (they're probably jealous because you got a new ride, they're not your friends either. they should congradulate you not try to put you down)

Define best. Sounds like you have jealous friends. If you're happy, what does it matter what they think? Bet they still want to ride in it. Anyone offering to help pay for gas? That's what I thought.
