Or convert any kind of picture to any format?

You might have to use an image-editing software like Adobe Photoshop. You can't just change the file extension and type ".jpg" in place of ".bmp" because each image type is formatted differently (.jpg, .bmp, .png, tiff, .gif, etc.). Doing that will only render the image file unusable.

When you open your .bmp file in Photoshop (this is what I use), then you can do a "Save As" or "Save for Web" and pick JPEG as the format.

Hope this helps!

Use a program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Your scanner or camera may have come with one.

Just open the file and use SAVE AS, and pick a different FILE TYPE

Good luck
