My husband and I are having a "date day" on Sunday and leaving our daughter with my parents. We want to see a movie that doesnt make you think just pure entertainment. I love Owen Wilson and the preview to You Me and Dupree looks pretty funny, but dont want to waste money if all the funny parts are in the preview! Who has seen one or both and what do you think?? Pirates of the Caribbean!!! It is really amazing, it has comedy, romance, adventure, everything a good movie needs.
As for You Me and Dupree, it was ok, though I really prefer Pirates of the Caribbean

Well, I haven't seen both, I have only seen Pirates Of The Caribbean but I would definitely go with You, Me, and Dupree. Pirates Of The Caribbean is exciting but almost all the funny parts are in the previews.

I would recommend Pirates 2, but only if you have seen the first one. I haven't seen you,me,and depree and I don't plan too.It doesn't look very good at all.Pirates on the other hand was absolutely AMAZING!! It is now one of my all time fav movies!If u want to walk out of the theater feeling like it was worth the money, go see Pirates 2!!!!

Well, I haven't seen You Me and Dupree but I HAVE seen Pirates of the Caribbean and I laughed a lot. It doesn't.. however.. have a big surprise ending.. even so, I enjoyed it immensly.. besides.. it's Johnny Depp!! ;)

I haven't seen Pirates yet, but You, Me, and Dupree was somewhat funny, but overall not a huge thing.
