That is obvious, more salary, periodic pay raises and well deserved bonuses. Unfortunately, I am not in that opportunity, so I have to find a way to survive in order to pay off my debt to prevent bankruptcy.

More salary of course as well as yearly pay raises and bonuses for good performance. I don't use credit cards, all they do is encourage people to live beyond their means. And using your house for a piggy bank is a really bad idea. I've seen many people who took out an equity home, paid off their credit cards without closing them and make minor home improvements GET RIGHT BACK INTO DEBT with the same credit cards. Worse, they've ended up losing their homes because they got in over their heads. If you stop and think about the kinds of things you buy on credit - it's not even paid for after it's worn out, gone or worthless. I'd rather save for something I really want, and use a credit card only to pay for an emergency and only if I could pay it back without incurring interest.

More salary, pay raises, bonuses, etc.
Hate credit cards and all the other garbage. I'm trying to get us to a point where we're cash only on most all things.

Well, considering I don't own a house, OR have a credit card (just a debit card to use with my checking and savings account)....I'll stick with working hard, getting those cost-of-living pay raises and well-deserved bonuses! :)

I'd love a salary decent enough to be able to afford to live in a house AND eat food. London doesn't really afford that luxury to many.
