Yes - The astronauts put reflectors on the surface to measure the distance to the moon. They can still be reflected from today. Also, I read somewhere that the Indian lunar mapping satellite saw the Apollo landing sites.
To fake the moon landing would have been harder than actually going there. You would have to first build all the things that the public saw (Rocket, launch pads etc) and make them work in public. Then you would need to keep tens of thousands of people quiet about it. Someone somewhere would have talked.

They present a lot of plausible sounding reasons why we didn't go to the moon, but none of those reasons hold any water when you look closely at them. I don't understand what they gain from discounting others achievements, but you'll find several of them on Yahoo Answers and I'm sure some of them will chime in here.

Well somebody brought all those tons of moon rocks back. And someone put that mirror on the moon that has allowed scientists to make accurate measurements of the distance between the earth and the moon, find out that it is slowly pushing away, and so forth.

it is definitely a studio makeover dude and people have ample proof to prove it...think about armstrong's shadow on four sides when sun is the only light source on moon...the u.s. flag was was fluttering in breeze whereas moon does not have an atmosphere....A flash light was reflected in armstrong's face mask covered with glass i guess that was just the flash of camera.....that certainly proves something people will not like to hear...

If he did land it was not him people saw on T.V... Go to google video to and search about this topic.
They say they created "a film" so that if something goes wrong they show the film on T.V...
That is what they say in videos about the moon at google video.

Yes, Mr. Armstrong and several other astronauts walked and some drove on the moon.
This idea that it is all a hoax is wrong. The idea itself is the hoax.

JohnnySunday's answer is correct, except that the Indian lunar mapping satellite hasn't been launched yet; it is scheduled for launch in 2008.
