Apparently, they would feel no moral compunction to do so. And they are the only nation I know of who is granted U.S. sanction to do as they wish. Piles of innocent Lebanese dead, enormous destruction of infrastructure, homes and cities, and will they destroy Hezbollah? No. They are only creating a new generation of recruits.

So although you apparently have some bias against Jews, you have no problem with terrorists repeatedly striking Israel?
I know you're a hypocrite because the facts and the video we're seeing don't even back you up. While Israel is hitting strategic targets like bridges, roads, and Hezbollah fortifications (sure, with innocent casualties), Hezbollah is randomly launching rockets into the middle of Israeli cities. So the insanely inaccurately strike rate of 2% you cite would actually belongs to Hezbollah.
It's war, goofball. What kind of war are you familiar with? The one where nobody dies? The Lebanese people support Hezbollah, and Hezbollah started a war with Israel. So what did everyone think was going to happen? As far as Lebanon goes, if you lay down with dogs you are bound to catch fleas.

I think you've got sides mixed up. Hezbollah firing missiles randomly into Israeli schools and capturing their soldiers on the israeli side of the border is what started this mess. This is not impulsive, it's retributive. Honestly, the bordering countries have turned a blind eye to the criminal activities of terrorists attacking Israel from within their borders for so long, that turn about is fair play. If they would have managed their own citizens, they wouldn't be in this mess. Just where is this 2% figure coming from? Israel can drop a bomb on your lap - ask the last leader of Hamas.

Doesn't surprise me that a cnn poll would show such results... they're airing newscasts of people on the Lebanese side of things. Of course the Lebanese are upset, unfortunatly, they're harboring the enemy. We can't keep sympathizing and airing this crap on tv cause obviously a lot of people buy into it and take Hezbollah's side. If they'd have made an honest effort to work things out diplomatically, this crap wouldn't have happened. When they don't stick to what they say, in other words, when they LIE, what choice do you have, sit around and let them kill you, or defend yourself?

This isn't a question. This is a rant.
I'd advise you to look up the word "Hezbollah" for some background information as to WHY Israel is currently defending itself in such a manner.

Israel will stop firing missiles and fighting with Arabs as soon as they all can accept the state of Israel and not vow to wipe them off the face of the earth. Who can blame them for defending themselves against such terrorists!!
