have 4 hunter ceiling fan and all have problem to start rotating although after they do work fine. Some times have to push the blades to make it work.

What could be the proble?

thanks everyone for your answer, i openned one of then and change capacitor and is working again so asume the rest have the same problem

are they clean? dust and dirt can build up in the fan motor causing the fan to hesitate if you know how remove the fan and clean it do it
if you don't DON'T a local handyman/ handy-woman( is that politically correct ? lol ) should be able to help

It sounds like a wiring problem. Are the housings grounded? Are the units connected with the right polarity? Find the instructions and read them; then dismantle one of the units at the attachment and see if it was done right.((Be sure the power is off, not just the switch, the whole circuit)). Good Luck.
