I had had acne for years. Finally, I have got rid of it.
I think there are two possible reasons for having acne. One, skin problem. You may have oily skin or normal skin. The oily areas may have breakout easily. So washing your face twince a day is a must. Find a product that is right for you. That means it might take some time. Your skin changes, so does your skincare. I am using Biotherm. It works pretty good for me, although I haven't used their acne product. You may get some sample from them before you buy a whole set. Anyway, you can try some other product too.

Second thing causing acne is inner health problem. It may sound complex, but it is actually very ture. Acne may cause by diguestion problem and inner inbalance. I am not an expert on that. So I suggest you can go see a REAL Chinese doctor who knows herbs. If you don't know where to go, go to Chinatown. I have tried, and the bitten herb soup did help. If you can bear a little bitterness, you may find a cure for your acne.

Hope it helps! Good luck!

There is a system that goes by the name as Acne-Free. It works really well. I've tried Proactiv before as well, and the compared results didn't differ much at all. Acne-Free sells at places like drug stores, I guess. It's about 20 dollars for a box that contains "Purifying Cleanser," "Renewing Toner," and "Repair Lotion." It lasts about 2.5 months. You should try it and see how it works for you. It worked really well for me, but my condition wasn't very serious. Still give it a shot, though.

i tried proactiv, and it worked for a little bit but i still got those nasty under the skin pimples that hurt like hell. so, i went to the dermatologist and he put me on medication but besides that, i switched all my make-up to netrogena* and i was the same brand for my face wash. (my doctor told me that covergirl make-up is the worst for your face so stay away from it. trust me, he knows what hes talking about b/c i used it too.) its this acne scrub with microbeads in it. i find that only face wash with those little beads in it really clean my face. then i use cetephil lotion after and a benzol peroxide cream. i do this twice a day and my skin looks amazing.
i hope i helped!
