It comes down too who pays for the film too get made on which country made it, other wise that would mean films like judge dredd, batman, sleepy hollow, star wars and a holl host of other movies would be British, as they were made in this country, being filmed at studios like pinewood and elstree.

Mad Max is an Australian film at least the first one is if you get the DVD it has a option for the original Aussie language sound spur its not that much different than the English version and as far as I am concerned there is only 1 Mad Max film the other 2 are terrible efforts
