Is a person's outer beauty more important to you than the beauty that is within? Also, if a person is beautiful on the outside but does not have the best personality would you still date them?

What's inside is definitely more important than what's on the outside...however having that groovy inside wrapped in a nice "package" is a bonus...
If a person was good looking, but not a good personality, then no...dating wouldn't interest me...what would be the point if they weren't fun to be around?
Beautiful can be defined many ways...and is subjective, depending on who you ask...often we'll meet someone who isn't gorgeous outside, but is on the inside...and over time, even though their actual apperance hasn't changed, they appear beautiful to us to behold...because of who they are...

Speaking for myself, I think it is a combination of both inner and outer beauty that attracts me to certain women. I also feel that you have to get to know that person and I mean the whole person and not just focus on what they look like all dressed up and looking good.
It's like Chris Rock said, "When you meet someone you are not always really meeting the real person just their representative," Everybody at the start of a relationship puts their best foot forward, it's not till you get to know that other preson do the real habits and hang ups show themselves. This is when you have to decide, do I go on with this person or do I cut lose and find someone else who may or may not be the one for me.

DEFINITELY INNER BEAUTY. You live and learn - you get attracted to the "beautiful people" but they sometimes wear a mask to cover up the horrible ugly people they can be. I'm not saying people beautiful on the outisde are ALL ugly on the inside but in my years, I have truly learned that there is evil sometimes behind the mask. I then worked with a female who was pushing 400 lbs and got to know her (no, not lesbian - am married -- just talking "people" here in general) --- once you get to know her -- she was one of the most beautiful - honestly - people I've ever met. Anyone who came in contact with her loved her. The sweetest person with the biggest heart. And she had confidence in herself!! She was truly a beautiful person. but I'll bet if she were walking in the mall, the young kids on here who are judging by looks would have made fun of her when she could have been the best friend a person could ever have.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as we have all heard at one time or another. beauty is what makes a person a person. IT IS what is on the inside, because after one dies, the soul is all that goes on. Beauty is something that takes your breath away in an instance of sensing something or someone.

Outer beauty is nice in a relationship but only lasts so long. as long as i love there personality and their face does not make me queasy than i will have a relationship with them.

No, because this type of beauty is only skin deep and not everlasting; beauty in the soul comes from compassion and only grows as one gets older.

I think beauty is a combination of looks and personality, and with the right combination anyone can be beautifull.

the old adage "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" applies here. it all depends on what turns you on. brains. looks. personality. although i would never date someone who looked good, but was had a crappy personality

first impresion counts a lot but you could be as beautiful as you want but if you are ugly from the inside then wats the point?
