I belive in God because it seems logical for me that there is this one Higher Being that started everything.
I don't really have a religion. I recently left the Roman Catholic Church because I became disillusioned with their 'way' of salvation and whatnot. It's a long list.

RULES FOR BEING HUMAN !
1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.
2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works".
4. A lesson is repeated until learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it you can go on to the next lesson.
5. Learning lessons does not end. There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.
6. "There" is no better than "here." When your "there" has become a "here" you will simply obtain another "there" that will, again, look better than "here".
7. Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9. Your answers lie inside you. The answers to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
10. You will forget all this.

I remain agnostic. My general theory is that by definition, a truly omnipotent deity is beyond the capabilities of agnostic, and therefore trying to reach a definitive conclusion by real and logical answers doesn't apply to the existence of such an entity. I do, however, know that there are sufficient inconsistencies between certain aspects of certain religions and the observable material plane, so at the very least I know I'm not Christian or even Jewish!

Yes. Many reasons. I've studied DNA. I've studied the Human brain. And let me tell you that only God could have made something so complex. It just wouldn't have been possible otherwise. I mean, without God, the chances of us being here are so small that we should focus on trying to win the Lottery instead...
And besides, I'm looking back on my life right now and I'm thinking of all the times when I , logically, should have died. = )

I neither believe in God nor a religion, becuase I don't think there is any evidence that there is a God, and thus, no religion for Him to be praised in. I think that, in order to be honest with ourselves and the world we live in, we must begin to take the kind of responsibility with this world, with humanity, that we should, namely, a responsibility that excludes any kind of responsibility being directed toward something that has never and will never take any part in the history of our species.

No because, no one else does either.

Because the concept "God" is a contradiction.

You can no more believe that "A is not A"
than that there is a benevolant/vindictive, omnipotent/powerless, pervasive/nowhere God.

You believe in your fabrication of it
The word God. The statue. The reality of the book whch "refers"
But all that is meaningless.

I have no religion for obvious Reasons.

I don't profess to any one relgion but study all of them, in addition to theosophy, esoteric sciences and philosophy. The Bible in its original said Elohim which translates as gods, plural. Thus I believe there are a multitude of beings more evolved than we, a hierarchy, serving a greater intelligence. Why do I believe all this? Because many years of study led to this as the logical conclusion. More years of study may lead me to a different conclusion but my mind remains open to learn more. The correspondences on the various levels are astounding, the One reflected in such a multitude of displays of beauty.

Yes I do beleive in God.And what is a religion,it's an important pathway that leads to God.But it would be an act of nonsense to just stick to the way and forget your final destination. So to Me God is my final destination and religion just a pathway to be left behind when you reach you goal.

God. If you believe exactly what other people tell you then how can you possibly live your life in trial?

(I attend mass regularly but it's my sign of adoration and respect. It's not an obsessive need to fit in)
