I want to build an addition to my deck. It will be a hexagon. What angle do my cuts need to be on my frame to make a hexagon?

A hexagon is a Polygon with six sides and six angles.
360 divided by 6 is 60 degrees. To put two ends together that form a 60 degree angle, each end would be cut at 30 degrees.
Because there will be 12 ends you can see that 12 times 30 equals 360, or the full circle.

Hexagon refers to an enclosed figure of six straight lines...and a circle is of 360 degrees, that means you need to cut at an angle of 60 (360 / 6 = 60).

Six sides with two ends each = 12 cuts.
360 degrees / 12 cuts = 30 degrees per cut.

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/FHG7W
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.
