Keep him home if you can, that's no place for a married man to be.I've never been to one, so I don't know what really goes on in them.

I think it depends on your relationship. If you already cant trust him then its a problem. If you trust him then its no big thing. I've been to female strip clubs (some decent and some raunchy) and its not much of anything. the guys drink and give the girls money. the girls talk to them and try to get them to buy lap dances - which may be too close for comfort for the wife to understand - and some even get down and dirty and the girls do more than dance. Most men know that strip clubs are just a tease and just something to do with the fellas. Some guys just cant control themselves and go for more.
Talk to your husband. Maybe go with him to the strip club and see for yourself.

My ex-husband liked to go to strip clubs. He'd take his paycheck and mine and go have him self a ball. Then he'd b**** the next day because we couldn't afford to pay the light bill.
Sometimes the stripping is all that happens. Sometimes there's a little prostitution on the side. Sometimes there's drug activity. I try not to judge the women that work there, and if some man who's single goes in there, hey fine for him. But a married man needs to keep his a** at home with his wife.

You should go with your gut feeling. If you are uncomfortable with him going to places like that, your feelings should be considered. A marriage takes two and your feelings count too. I really do not like my H to go to strip clubs, he used to when were first married, I just thought it was "one of those guy things" then. Now he does not go anymore. A lot of things happen there, it depends on the place, but sometimes the guys do get more than just a lap dance.

I think that is a personal choice for a couple.
Allegedly EVERYTHING happens in those places, but some people choose not to participate in some activities.
I think that a BLANKET RULE against strip clubs is probably not a good idea as they are traditional for BACHELOR'S PARTIES. But, if your husband is going to a strip club frequently you may want to talk about it with him.

They watch naked women dance sexy and they can get a private dance if they want which is just one on one. They can buy the strippers drinks, buy lap dances(basically spending money on women who are not wives) and socialize with them.
A husband should not go to a strip club because he made a vow to you, it's disrespectful and selfish. I would be seriously concerned no matter what kind of bs, my friends wanted me to go or I just was curious, excuse he throws at you; there is a problem here.

As long as the wife is okay with it, the husband doesn't spend too much money or falls in love with a stripper, then cool.
Lap dances happen at strip clubs (ie. grindage) ... sometimes more

Better to not start - because a man will want more especially if he is drinking and where will the visits end? Probably not good.
How would he feel about YOU going to a club without him?
It is not good for married couples - I am sure many problems have come from it. Ask him why he needs to go - take no weak answers.(which is all there will be). He needs to honor his marriage first.

As a guy who has been to a couple.. I can say that there are girls dancing on poles or cages and doing strip tease. In some clubs they get totally naked. They throw their clothes at guys who stick money in them. We sit there and ogle at these women. Sometimes there are lap dances where the girl sits on our laps and wiggles her body. Girls in skimpy outfits or topless serve drinks and so on. The guys can't do much because the bouncers will throw us out if we start acting rowdy or start harrassing a girl.

I don't think that married people should go to strip clubs unless they go as a couple. If either partner goes alone, that is not right.
