I have technical skills... but other skills too. If I did not have these other skills , I would not even earn $18,000/yr.

Maybe there is prestige in the Indian culture with tech and med skills...some people value more than money, but i am not an authority on Indian culture. And, I don't know specifically what kind of skills you mean when you say "technical" and "medical", but I can tell you in that in the United States, those skills pay 80 K +....

Not all of them value that. They value family and haritage as well as all knowledge. I am Native American, I value much more then that of what you speak, Don't make acusations that you have not fully researched. By the way Native americans do not seek medical tec. because we have a greater knowledge that the white man has not even considered, we know herbalology,it is our main stream in healing. We do not have to go far to earn a degree in medical school. And we are not Indians, We are Native Americans. Indians are over seas. In India

Its obvious isn't it? They have been brainwashed into thinking those skills are the only worthy ones while we who are more enlightened know that any skill is worthy of a living wage.

because they don't have knowledge other than these technical & medical skills, do what is right for you!!!
