I would say Honda. My dad has a honda lawnmower he got from home depot and he say that mower was the best he ever invested in. Everytime he mows it , it looks like a fairway or baseball field. He puts this roller thing on the back of his lawn mower and puts stripes on the grass like you would see on a baseball field.

Number One and a great mulcher
Toro's are good - I had one untill I sandblasted holes in the deck - with our very sandy soil here in So. Florida

Cub cadet is highly rated. I work for a repair service for Lowes and we hardly get any calls on them
