I live in San Diego and for the past 12 of my 33 years have been living under a rock. Sexually. The simple answer is probably to ask around at adult bookstores, strip clubs, etc ... but how do I find out where sex parties are?
I crave exposure. My libido is low and unassuming. I like to just watch / be voyeuristic. (At first?! lol) Be safe--

Try looking in yahoo groups for "sex clubs" in your area.
There is a place in San Francisco, quite a ways away www.powerexchange.com
I also found several links in a swinger site www.swinglifestyle.com although with swing clubs as a single male you better make sure the club will accept you.
