That sounds like a true oxymoron. One of the words which appears to be a conflicting term actually expresses an extreme degreee of the other term. It's like deafening silence or blinding insight. I think I would like it better as profoundly shallow.

No, a person can not be deeply shallow. Deeply is a measurement of distance. A person can be extremely shallow. Extremely is a measurement of degree.

I think we all are shallow - the only difference is some people dont know they are shallow just yet
