Your sister's a turd. I really question her motives for doing that. You need to have a one-on-one talk with your Dad. You were just a kid, and he's the adult, so let's hope he can be one and accept your apology!

Growing up is tough - Most children will write or say something bad about their parents, especially if things are not going your way. If your dad has taken this so seriously - he has the problem not you. Growing up is hard enough - every time my dad told me I couldn't go out or I couldn't see that guy again - I would get so pissed at the moment and write my feelings down for just me to vent. What your sister has done was wrong. Most sisters stick together and should be there to vent - it helps to cope with life of growing up. She must be jealous of you in some way. Keep your written material locked up somewhere - that can always be destroyed when you are more matured and don't need to vent anymore.

Tell him that you were young at the time and you didn't think it would hurt his feelings now. You were young for crying out loud. Tell him that it was a mistake. When you say sorry, say it like you mean it. Pull him aside from everyone else and tell him. Try and explain that it was a mistake, and you know it didnt say pervert.

He'll calm down and soon. He just has to realize that you wrote it when you were 9. It doesn't excuse what you do, but your apology will help. A new letter or card expressing your feelings and apologizing again won't hurt either. He is just as hurt as you would be if your best friend did that to you (maybe more so)

Apologize to your father, and then let it go. Kids get angry at their parents all the time and wish heinous things on them...but they don't really mean it (usually). Your father will hopefully realize that's the case, as I'm sure he remembers thinking ill of his parents when he was growing up.
As for your sister, explain to her about privacy...and the importance of it...then be sure that anything you don't want made public is hidden or kept under lock and key in your room...she may learn her lesson when she realizes that tattling on others and snooping, causes them not to trust her...

Isn't that an age old question? I guess it will come with age, that she tell you and not your parents but maybe you can try to include her more and act as if she's your friend and not just an annoying sister

First of all DO NOT ever put anything on paper that you don't want someone else to read. Second of all you need to go to your dad and apologize.
