viruses are neither male nor female. If fact there is a debate as to whether they are alive at all but that's for another question.
Insects that kill their mates are Preying Mantis and Black Widow Spider.

Hihihihihihihi.....
What is happened galz ????
NO virus having a sex. And the virus have no sex, and they are not reproduct sexually.
The scientist still debate whether the virus included into the living things or not. But it seems that virus will be have their new kingdom.
The virus reproduct asexually, where is they will attached the host cell / bacteria, then they injected their own genetic material, and that material will then combine and re-split with the host`s one.
Than inside the host body will truncated by the new virus 'sons'. And badly, the host will die.
Yup there are several insects that are illed their partner sex after fertilization. Such as the mantis, and almost all os the type of spider. Actually the female that kill their male-mate.
Why do they kill their mate ???
After having the sex, they spend a lot of energy. The female that will have their kids are better kill their mate and eat them. And also that assassination is helping to reduce the number of competition between the species. So that the number could be prevented.

The answers that say viruses have no sex are
correct. However the idea that black widows and
praying mantises routinely kill and eat their mates
is largely or entirely myth. I know a biologist who
studied black widows. He said he had watched
about 500 matings and had never seen the female
kill the male. Praying mantises do mate more
vigorously if the male's head is removed, because
some central nervous system inhibition of the
mating movements is eliminated when the brain
is removed. However there is some doubt that
the female routinely eats the male in nature. This
has been seen mostly in matings of captive
insects, and it has been suggested that the captive
ones are undernourished. How often the female
eats the male (if at all) under natural conditions is
uncertain. Also, there are many kinds of praying
mantis and what one kind does is not necessarily
what all of them do.

As stated. the praying mantis does. however I think the male has to be beheaded in order to have "sex" in the first place....... which would not be good if you're a visual kinda male praying mantis

Viruses don't reproduce sexually. They stick their DNA into a plant or animal cell and make that cell do all the work.
There are some spiders that kill their sex partners...
