the lights on papers there it prints when you leave an hour later.

The printer might be out of ink or it might not be hooked up. My foot caught on my printer cable one time and I spent an hour messing with it before I realized my simple solution. I just needed to plug my printer back in. I hope it's that simple for you too.

you don't give enuf info. to get an answer.
Does the printer go thru the motions - feed the paper etc. but prints nothing on the paper or does it just sit there and not respond to the print command?
Repost the question with some info. pls.

my HP cartridges have an expiration date and will not print past that date...but I do not know how to bypass them
