I already live by the ocean and take my word for it, after Hurricane Katrina, it is totally over rated. I lost EVERYTHING.

The ocean, but I would like to have a nearby mountain so if a tsunami hits I could climb up the mountain and be safe!!

Now that's a good question! I love the ocean, however I wouldn't want to get caught in a Tsunami (however you spell it). And near the mountains, I wouldn't want to get caught in an avalanche or mud slides, and I think the mountains are nice too!
So being that I really can't choose.....

I choose in between! lol

The mountains,I dont like the dampness that gets into everything close to the ocean,mold etc.The mountains offer something new and beautiful every morning,the animals, the trees .I like all that mountains offer ,but I live in the desert of AZ sigh one day we will live in the mountains around Ruidoso ,NM so lovely.

The ocean, as much as I hate Tsunami. I just LOOOOVE the beautiful ocean waves. Ahhhhhhhhh, it's like paradise (wait, it is!).
