Check out the repairman through the Better Business Bureau. See if he has had problems in the past with other customers and if he did, were the problems satisfied.

Look for a company that holds a license and insured
also see in yellow pages for someone who works
on your type of unit The name brand should be on
your indoor or outdoor unit.

If they tell you need a new system get a 2nd opinion

Look in the phone book for ad's that are big. Don't call Uncle Billie Bob's heating and lawn care. Look for shops that drive new vans, not 73 dodges.

look for one that may have a signature brand in their add, that matches the brand of your unit. most reputable companies post this in their ads. it just increases your odds of getting someone thats familiar with your equip. vs. screwups..thats the best you can do. check them against the better business bureau. ask friends and neighbors who they use and if they are happy with them...

call a few neighbors and ask if they have used one they like. word of mouth is the best way to go.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT BUSTED?....HOW BIG OF A UNIT IS IT?...LOOK IN WAL-MART FOR THE SAME ONE...IT WOULD PROBABLY COST YOU LESS TO GET A NEW ONE THEN TO HAVE THAT ONE FIXED ESPECIALLY THIS TIME OF YEAR.......
