Do you remember 9/11?

As the death toll in Iraq reaches over 2,500 and more and more Americans fail to support the war we started. I just ask....do you remember why we're there?

Those people didn't have anything to do with 9/11 from what I've been told....but I do realize we are there because Bush and our government saw Iraq as an imminent threat to our way of life here in the USA. I'm still not certain how they made this connection, being that there were no weapons of mass destruction etc, but I'm sure I'm not smart enough to understand the complexities of politics and government. All I know is that I pray that the men and women of our country, their country, and all others that are involved, can soon enjoy the peace and happiness they are fighting so hard to create.

Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11. Only the ignorant beleive this. The Iraq war started with faulty info from the CIA. They beleived So Damn Insane had WMD's. He was really fronting trying to fool Iran into thinking he had them. He didn't count on us seeing the same thing and attacking. Considering this is the only war where the United States actually attacked a country rather than defending itself or its allies.

The US. Government has lied about many wars. The increase of troops in Vietnam was based on an attack in the Tonkin Gulf that never happened. Some say that Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor and let it happen to get support to join World War Two. The Spanish-American War (Remember the Maine!) was also based on a hoax.

Not to mention the numerous covert wars that they lied about. Iran-Contra, the overthrow of Mossadegh in Iran, Allende in Chile, Arbenz in Guatemala. Also the war in Panama, against someone who was on the payroll of the CIA. Cuba as well. The Bay of Pigs invasion was supported by the CIA, and the people who invaded were trained by the CIA in Guatemala.

As for 9/11 this is the origin of the plan:-

Which brings into question 9/11/(2001), which was never investigated properly, and has been hijacked in order to enact Dubya's agenda and the subsequent illegitimate wars.

9/11 has nothing to do with Iraq. It has everything to do with Taliban, Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda. 9/11 was a personal agenda of Bush and his administration. They would have gone to war with Saddam under some other pretext. Read PNAC papers and you will know.

I'll never forget it. We were in Santa Fe on holidays having breakfast in a bed and breakfast place. A guest ran into the dining area telling us that a plane had crashed into the Towers. We thought her crazy, how was that possible? We learnt very fast as we saw the next plane and lived through a day of horror and much crying.

I remember all too well the horrific events of 9/11. I know why we are there and support President Bush's efforts to end terrorism. I also support our troops, wherever they may serve.
