Well statistically it would have to be Jerry Rice, but my opinion is that Art Monk was the greatest most humble reciever ever.

I hate to say it but I would have to say Jerry Rice.
Rams record holder, Isaac Bruce would have been the greatest ever if he could have stayed healthy in the late 90's. The season that Jerry Rice broke the record for most receiving yards in a season, a lot of people don't realize that Bruce broke the record before Rice went into the last game of the season. Unfortunately, Rice got enough yards in that last game to top Bruce.

Without a doubt it's Jerry Rice. Played on Super Bowl teams and won MVP's and holds every reception and touchdown record there is.

Jerry Rice and not only cuz of his records. The man played the game to win. No other player especially of today's generation would play for the love of the game. Even while sick and injured he gave 110% of the effort.

Jerry Rice holds the NFL career records for, Touchdowns, Yardage from scrimmage, Receptions and combined yardage. In most cases 2nd place isn't even close. Jerry was the best receiver. stats from NFL.com
