when fred was running through the house, chasing dino or whatever, he would always pass the same damn things......a couch, a window, and a table........a couch, a window, and a table....that really used to piss me off.

It's called saving time and money by using the same background.
Remember, animation wasn't as advanced as it is now.

Their house was small and didn't have any walls and sections besides the bedroom and bathroom being seperated. He and Dino were running in a circle.

They reuse backgrounds to make a scene last longer and to cut animation costs. Tom and Jerry did the same thing. As did The Roadrunner, Scooby Doo and so on.

It's just a old cartoon trick because they were too lazy to animate a long running track so they just looped it. That or they're running in circles.

i hear ya.. i have always noticed that and from the outside their stone house is the size of an apartment but when hes running in the house, he runs for a mile like they live in a mansion.

that's something i noticed even as a child,,,,it's like ok......that sure is one damn big *** house with the same stuff in it room after room after room........hahahahaha
