I'm reading here that G W Bush USA is looking for his legacy and T Blair UK is looking for his legacy. Why can't these guys rely on their record?

They both rely on they record. William Clinton is looking for a legacy that doesn't involve scandal.

Tomorrow, lets all go out and bury these legacies. Then we can put up signs directing the recipients to their own or each other's legacies. I suggest an inhospitable place to hide them.
