If not for the drug users in this country, coke and weed come to mind, there would be no drug cartels, drug crimes, full prisons, foriegn corruption based on drug money and a general decline in the respect of laws in our society. I am in favor of eliminating ALL drug laws. But until that happens how , you the drug buyer, can you sleep at night knowing what you are financing?

No, they don't feel guilty... at least not anymore than someone who is not a vegetarian feels guilt over the slaughter that supports their McDonald's addiction? Similar but different.

What about all the legal drug users... they made the rest of the drugs illegal in the first place. Drunks and prescript users screwed it all up with their Rockefeller laws.

Q: Why do people get more prison time for crack than coke?
A: Cause your probably white and affluent if you use coke, and broke/black if your on crack.

Q: Why is opium and pot illegal?
A: Originally so they (rich white) could prosecute the Chinese and Mexicans and force them out of the country after they had finished building the railroads.

I suspect that the MAJORITY of drug users do NOT feel guilty for their use. I am in favor of legalizing EVERYTHING and killing the drug cartels. However, allegedly the CIA is the BIGGEST DRUG CARTEL, and that makes it DIFFICULT to pass. What a bunch of alleged shady trade practices.

And, the government is HALF TO BLAME for financing the drug cartels. If the drugs were not illegal, they would not be so expensive. After about 100 years of The War on Drugs, all we have gotten is dead law enforcement officials, lots of abuse, and lots of people in prison, many of whom are pretty decent people. I think it is time to finally say that "We LOST The Drug War and give up!"

The majority of drug users could really care less. They are not the ones using the money to fund gang wars or terrorism. In fact, most dealers are not using it for that either. It's the dealers who deal to the dealers that do all this.

Think of it like this, when you buy gas you are supporting Global warming, this war in Iraq and probably a lot of terrorists who are rich because they own oil fields. (or are funded by people who do.)

Besides, I feel a lot of contempt towards my government because of their "war on drugs". If they really want to drop crime, fight terrorism and keep America free, they would of ended the war on drugs around 30 years ago.

You know, when they first noticed that it wasn't working.

BUT NO! They were getting to much funding, there were to many high paying jobs for them to think of the citizens. They got even more funding for their police forces and FBI and CIA because of it all.

Even though we KNOW the CIA was illegally trafficking a lot of heroin into our country in body bags during Vietnam. Do these people seem like the kind of people you want your tax money going to fund? People who can't even follow their own rules, who have no respect for the dead?

Not me.

Anyway, if a drug user feels guilty it's almost always because A.They feel like they are ruining their life B.Everyone guilt trips them because they use, or C.Because the drug use is causing stress in relationships (Not directly related to the effects of the drug though.)

So no, not a lot of guilt going on because of terrorism and gang wars and all that. Not caring too much. I just blame the government and it's ignorant and illegal policies

I just felt like adding that in the "war on drugs" I am on the drugs side. Which incidentally means I am on the citizens of every country in the world's side.

I used to do a lot of meth, and yes, I felt guilty sometimes, but not because it was against the law. I felt guilty because I was ruining my own life, and hurting my family and friends. I didn't feel guilty for everything that was wrong with society. If anything, I felt like society had let ME down.

Thats true, but if there were no people in this world, there would be no murder, no burglaries, no car accidents, no hurt, no pain, no sorrow. Life might be nice huh? So instead of harping on drugs, sit back and realize that drugs are far from the major problem with our country.

I smoke weed from time to time. In fact, I'm a former hustler myself. So, to sit up here and say that I do feel bad would be wrong. Honestly, I don't feel bad about any of what I happened to contribute. It was bound to happen somehow.

Sorry.
