It only takes once and it can be over as fast as it starts, depending on the guy and the circumstances. Any contact between the penis and the vagina can possibility result in pregnancy even if the male does not ejaculate. Don't take any chances thinking it can't happen the first time; even if you don't get pregnant, you have a variety of STDs to protect yourself from. Use a condom if you're going to have sex.

I have heard of girls getting pregnant the first time they had sex. Be extremely careful...babies are a lot of work even for a woman in a committed relationship with someone who helps. My daughter's little boy was up every two hours for months. Try setting your alarm and getting up every two hours, then stay up for about 20 minutes each time you get up. Even doing this one night should convince you that it's better to wait until you're older and in a committed relationship to start having sex because even the pill is not 100% effective. Another daughter got pregnant while on the pill because she was sick and taking antibiotics. I don't mean to preach at you, but we should all try to see that all babies born into this world are wanted and appreciated.

if your trying to get pregnant, then keep trying as it is only viable for about 6 days a month....if your wondering how long you can have unprotected sex for before your at risk of becoming pregnant the answer is as soon as you start penetrative unprotected sex your in the danger zone. NEVER have sex without the guy wearing a "raincoat"...unless he is your fiancee or husband and your trying for a child.

as long as it takes to get pregnant. you mean time wise? I dont think no one knows that. It happens when it happens. People try for many years before becomming pregnant. they try diffrent posistions,diffrent times of the day all kinds of things. If its ment to be it will be.
