This is characteristic of many young people...and, I think the answer is in the question itself.
Kids who have been given everything, and required to struggle for nothing, will naturally see the world as comprised of useless things without value.
This would be a terrible way to live, and I have sympathy for them; I genuinely believe they are miserable.
There is a cure for it, though; work hard for yourself. This will happen as a matter of course for many young people when they leave home and shift for themselves.

Lemme try.... A bunch of unpopular (albeit healthy and well provided for) children wanted their parents to know how miserable it is to be 16 (because parents were never that young!) so they had nothing left to do, but form a pseudo-clique full of kids that also hate their normal, well fed, well sheltered existence..... EMOS ARE BORN! How was that?

i kinda feel sorry for emo people
but emo people are just lazy.......
and iff they have everythign and are still sad
they are just spoiled
and i hate spoiled people.
but if they are missing famaly or love or stuff like that then its ok to be emo!

Yes. They are idiotic. And a cheap imitation of goth. They should all go cut themselves... and rid the world of their bad taste in music and clothing.
