Either one is great b/c each has cool games the other does not. If you have to choose. Research which one has the games you like most.
One tip, if you can, get a projector (lcd or dlp) and hook it up with speakers. Your entire wall becomes a video game. Its pretty incredible and FUN FUN FUN, til' her daddy takes her T-Bird away!

Well, I would say a Xbox 360. But it depends, if you are looking for a multimedia videogame system you should get a Xbox 360. But if you are looking for a low price fun for a while system, get the PS2.

an xbox 360 since it's brandnew and an playstation 2 is pretty old so i would recomend an xbox 360

you could spend the $100-150 on the ps2, or you could spend $300-450 on XBOX 360 or you could save the money and then in November buy the PlayStation3 for $500-700 either way its you decision so choose wisely

PS3 is $600. Dont wait for that crap. Its no better than the 360 and the games will cost more. Get a 360. PS2 has CRAPPY graphics.

If that is the comparison you're making, the 360 wins hands down. Wait a few months, save your money and get a PS3

Now listen, don't get either of them. XBOX 360 isn't good enough to be in the market, and PS2 is just not PS3 or WII. Wait to get PS3 or the new Wii console. Just WAit.

buy a PC from dell
cost about the same as the 360 with none of the limitations.
Plus you can download and emulate those games (ps2,xbox, 360) all on your pc
I do, I saved tons of money, plus I like being a pirate.
I keep my money wear it belongs!
Making more money
besides neither has any BREAK thorugh games, role playing games suck, on both systems(due to the control problem and lack of tools)
