I try to refrain from spending money to go to the theatres cause it's getting so expensive. I wait till it comes out on dvd so I can rent them. There isn't much good movies out these days only those high budget movies like Superman or Pirates of the Caribbean. Other than that your not gonna expect much from going to the movies.

none, used to be that movies were rare.
Theaters only had one screen, and movies would run in your local theater for a limited time. It was something else to go to a movie and be part of an audience that could appreciate this fact.
These days, with 10plex, 20plex, 24plex theaters, it is common to see a movie with , maybe 20 other people. This is just sad. You never get to experience the effect of the large crowd responding to the drama, emotion, or suspense of the picture.

Well, my husband and I always go together, so here's the breakdown:
Tickets: $7.50 each
Food: At least $7, sometimes as much as $10 for both of us
Total: Around $20, if we buy snacks
We don't go to the movies real often anymore. It's just too expensive. We wait for the "bigger" movies to go.

I buy the tickets and usually go out to eat b4 the movie! Remember drinks in a movie make u have to go to the bathroom soo u miss parts!

$7.50 for the tickets and $5 dollars for the food.
Please note that I'm a addictor to movie's (a movie lover) so I basically go to the theaters every Friday like today

Enough for the ticket, a med drink and candy. probably between $15,$20 depending on the place and time.

I never buy snacks at the movies. I usually sneak mine in. So usually around 8 bucks.

Where I live a movie ticket for an evening show costs about $8.25 (2 people = $16.50). Popcorn and soda....$7.50. So, about $24.00.
