going outside to play.
riding bikes all day long with my friends.
after early Saturday morning cartoons, going outside when it was barely daylight... no wonder I always had to wait on my friends to get up.
getting to play outside in the summer until after dark.
playing house inside on a rainy day...(that's the only time i stayed inside, if even then.)
going to the swimming pool up the street but sometimes saving that money & me & my cuz would go swimming in the creek.(after the rain)..i would kill my kid for doing some of the things i did.
things are so different arent they... i could run from sun up to sun down & then some... i would have an amber alert out on my girl now it that happened... too many freaks in the world today

the year that Santa gave me every thing I asked him for plus some money I was in the fifth grade and I got every thing I wanted for Christmas and Santa also left me fifty bucks that was the happiest and the most favorite thing in all my childhood because my parents had seven children and by the time I was going to the fifth grade three of my older sisters had moved out and that just left me and my other three sisters at home and that year we all had a great Christmas.

My late brother Karl Jones, we were so close 18 months between us, he took his own life last year age 28, I'll always love and miss him, sometimes i feel cheated at times, ask myself what my memories were in aid of including my child hood ones, so many but i could would never let them go, anyway sorry on a lighter note my other fave is sat on my own making mud pies in the goal area of the football pitch at the back of my house when i was 5 years old, hee! i loved it. x

Coming together as a family when my dad died. I was twelve, with one brother and three sisters. We grew closer togther than anytime before or after, and created bonds that will live forever.
Remembering my dad's insatiable love for fireworks is second. We would sit for hours as he lit one after the other.
