i was thinking about buying the series, but i don't know if it's worth it. i can't find any episodes on youtube either. so if anyone can provide me with a brief description or any episodes on youtube, i'd be really happy. thanx! :) no stupid-a** remarks please! ex: what's infinite ryvius? or i don't know if it's good or not.

Have you ever read the Lord of the Flies? That anime is like that book, only that is in space and it has girls too.

I have the DVD boxed set. It's quite good. It has a Mobile Suit Gundam feel about it.
Ryvius is the name of the ship. It's set in the 23rd century after a solar flare has destroyed a solar system and created a plasma field called the Geduld that has made space travel difficult. A space station used to train crews to travel through the Geduld is sabotaged and destroyed, killing all of the adults, a group of cadets must find their way home.

I've seen it, it is not as much like Lord of the Flies as some would think. But it is a very good and intense anime. I recommend it.
