You could try the new Google payment system - although eBay have banned the use of this on their site as they say it is 'unsecure'
Nothing to do with Paypal being owned by eBay then?

I have used Paypal for several years and accept business payments also. I have never had an issue. When I hear people have a problem it is usually centered around two issues:
1. They recevied a fraudulent credit card payment and moved that money to their bank account. Paypal then (by their policy) took that money back. This is exactly the way any merchant account works when a business receives a fradulent charge.
or
2. They received email they thought was from Paypal, clicked a link and thought they went to Paypal's site, entered their username and password, and were transfered to the real paypal site. The first site they were on actually stole their username and password.
WARNING: Never follow and email link and give away information. Type http://www.paypal.com yourself.

I believe PayPal does everything in its power to keep your account secure, but sadly it is unable to prevent withdrawals in circumstances where your user name and password have become known to someone else, and that other person has raided your account.
There are so many scams online nowadays designed to harvest your details. We must all be aware of this and never think 'it won't happen to me.' Whenever you receive an email purporting to be from PayPal, never reply to it. Note its contents and then open a new window in Explorer and go directly to the PayPal site www.paypal.com/uk/ - log in and check your account.
Any irregularities should be immediately reported to PayPal. Remember, PayPal will never ask you for your username or password in an email. Links in emails can be disguised to hide their true destination!
If you are unhappy about any such email, you can report it to PayPal and forward a copy of the email AND its header - PayPal will investigate and advise you if it is NOT genuine.
You would not let people see you entering your PIN number at a cash machine, would you - nor include your security details in any message YOU send? So, be careful not to be casual about email requests - just because they indicate they are from PayPal, does not mean that this is so.
Scammers are masters of deception and can even emulate a Website down to the finest detail. I have had many fake emails from eBay (purportedly) and have always reported these and forwarded them for analysis - this is the only way that WE can help to defeat the scammers, as eBay, and PayPal, can trace the originating IP and take preventative steps.
It is therefore in our own interest to be vigilant and thereby not allow ourselves to be duped.

I've never had a problem with Paypal myself, but I have heard that there are a lot of scammers who forge paypal pages and emails to fool you into disclosing your account details.
the best solution is to be super paranoid about all your dealings over the internet.Just to be on the safe side store all your dozens of passwords, usernames, account numbers in your head!

Are you sure you are on the real paypal? There are a few scams out there pretending to be paypal. Call the company and deal with them over the phone. I have never had a problem with them.

no longer me in my opinion. yet sure i've got heard comparable thoughts, that's why i desperate against getting a paypal account, or advertising on Ebay. that's rather too undesirable as a results of fact I actual have alot of stuff i could desire to sell... so perhaps now i will could desire to bypass to considered one of those shops and enable somebody else manage the criminal crap. in any case! what i replaced into going to tell you is that when I asked around, and that i think of i could have even asked human beings on right here what they seen it, approximately 2/3rds of human beings recommended me against using it. human beings have been telling me that paypal can in fact 'play God' along with you cash and infact you're able to sell some thing, and then they'll freeze your account and you will by no skill get you cash for it. i assume that is all interior the advantageous print which you're able to desire to conform to once you verify in for the service. and clearly ebay is in on it as a results of fact which you are able to no longer even placed up some thing on ebay 'competently' without paypal. that is ridiculous!

I've used PayPal fairly extensively and never had a problem.
Not knowing the details of your problem, did you try going back through your credit card company?
