The peanut butter thing really does work. Then wash it really well. It the gum is on a shoe put it in the freezer. You might want to try putting an ice cube on the gum and see if you can make it hard. It might be less messy, but if it is all wrapped around your hair use the peanut butter and then us a little dish washing detergent just where it was in the hair and wash hair normally. Hope that helps. Remember the ice thing for objects like shoes of if it is not all wraped around the hair.

Get an ice cube and a wash cloth and hold the ice cube on the gum and hair with the wash cloth. When the gum hardens pull it off.

hi i am not sure about getting gum out of hair other than cutting it out but i know if it were on your clothes you can put them in a freezer for a few hours then the gum just lifts off but this is not an option for hair

use olive oil. some people say peanut butter works, but it only works because it's very oily. oil will separate the hairs and make them slick to get the gum out. it may take a few shampoos to get the oil out, but it sure beats having sticky gum in your hair.

Rub peanut butter into it. The gum will lose its stickiness and fall apart. Then wash your hair.

Ice. Rub the ice on the spot, and the gum will be gone like that.
